Julius,

Richard, Dave & Andy's posts have taught me quite a bit. This recent correction has once again taught me the importance of Technical analysis. I have also read quite a few of your posts in the TC-2000 thread and you have also helped me in the past.

As far as the buy scan, the only other criteria I added was a volume filer,(AVGV90>250) to knock out the lesser traded stocks with no liquidity. "Richard's Buy Buy Scan" is a good scan for a "typical market". It picks stocks just starting to trend upward, but it appears to me in this market breakouts are short lived. Is there a TC-2000 scan that you know of dedicated to breakouts.....?

Most of the indicators I use are taken from posts by Richard, Dave, and Andy. The main ones being On-balance volume W/20 DMA and stacked moving averages, which I change depending on the market's volatility. What indicators do you use to predict a breakout?

Thanks

Chris
