"(you there MikeM?)" Frank- Yes. I'm here. Where access meets core-SONET/ATM/GbE/IP/WDM mixing is turning out to be quite interesting, but complicated. So much fluff out there right now it's still hard for me to get a handle on it. But I'm getting there. Here's another one of those PR type things that says it's 'no problem.' This one out of Redback: lightreading.com And I'm wondering if the runup recently in Tellabs(TLAB) might has something to do with a metro-box they may be working on. I lose track of who is doing what, but I thought they were close on something. I would think TLAB would be in an ideal position(because of their legacy cross-connects) to develop and sell metro products. -MikeM(From Florida)
