Being a few hours ahead of you guys time wise,I read the china news while most of you were getting some shut eye.My first thoughts were,Oh Dear we are going to sink like a ship and then started putting things in perspective.Qcom has no china revenue in its earnings estimates probably due to the fact that the market knows that the chinese are un reliable. Then looking at the future, there seems to be the inevitable that some flavor of cdma will be the predominant wireless technology in the next 3 to 5 years.
Given the companies history and execution, I felt very comfortable about their handling of short term obstacles.

So I went ahead and sold my elon shares and bought some qcom at 61.Right now I could use a stock that will gain its old highs in little steps over a longer time frame,as the volatility of this market is making me sea sick.

OT It still does not change the fact that the chinese are lying, deceiving SOB's.I am looking forward to the day when docomo and Nokia get served with a Multi Billion Dollar patent infringment by qcom demanding payment after they have put all the infrastructure in.
