MGJ-

As usual, thanks for keeping us informed. Let's hope today is the beginning of getting some "mo" back. VOD still down not only for the year-but also for the month which is surprising given the recent rally.

Concerns over 3G license costs are valid-but so overblown. Bottom line: great quarter, 30% appreciation from Orange (with huge cash component), Infostrada IPO, Verizon IPO, Vodafone Pacific IPO, Arcor IPO, and strong euro all waiting in the wings to generate huge cash reserves to pay for license costs/build-outs/dividends/etc. Also, looks like 3G license in Japan will not cost anything and after PCS license fiasco a few years ago in US-not clear that there will be another auction again here. Even so, Verizon has plenty of spectrum to deploy 2.5G services within current band and US market is 2 yrs behind Europe and Japan anyway-so all of this just highlights the "irrationality" around any potentially negative information in a jittery market. Hope all following VOD have been able to add to their positions accordingly during the last few months.

Company really seems to be clicking on all cylinders-hope today's rally will get some of that cash that's been on the sidelines back in the game.
