Robert: Respectfully, even if you are correct, the true fact is that Mr. Klinton, having received an anemic "mandate" from a mere one voter out of a possible four, belies the results of the 1996 election when he insists that he speaks for the People, and, like some twisted Great White Father, affirms that he "was elected to take care of the American people." (his own words)
Let me explain something. There are a great number of Americans Klinton does not speak for; nor do they wish this dysfunctional liar "to take care of them." These are the producers: the small business man, the entrepreneur, the working stiff who works till May 15 for the government, the family holding two jobs to stay afloat, the family attempting to raise children with dignity and without pernicious government meddling, etc. Klinton sometimes talks a good game but, thus far, has proven himself an enemy to those who desire nothing except to take care of themselves and their own and have proven themselves capable of doing so in spite of 40% to 60% taxation. To those who succeed by dint of hard work, careful thought, cleverness, or pure genius- to those whose machinations generate tremendous opportunity for themselves and for others- to these Klinton insists on affixing to their bodies front and back, bull's eye targets. To him these are the grist for his mill. The wealth extracted from these producers provides the fodder for his globalist, socialist, redistributionist schemes at the root of his political philosophy.
Herr Klinton's plans for the America that he so deeply despised in his youth do not constitute the vision which many of us share or for which many of us risked our lives in service to our country. This is why this man is so deeply disliked by, I daresay, roughly half the populace. I have never, in my lifetime, witnessed a president so disliked, and can ony believe that it is the fruit of his conscious strategem of dividing the nation and pitting group against group, class against class, in a maximal grasp for power and ascendancy.
That being said, there is very little to be achieved by arguing these points. If, for reasons that bewilder his detractors, you love Bill Clinton, that is your prerogative. God pity you. Nothing we say hear will probably change your mind. You will have to figure it out for yourself why many believe that this crooked man constitutes a menace to decent people and our Constitution. Doubtless, truth will out over time. On the other hand, for those who have seen the light or otherwise realize the truth about the Great Polarizer, there is little that Clinton sycophants could say to change our minds. It's really that simple; unfortunately, that simple.
