When did the Trader Vic book come out? I was reading New Market Wizards by Schwager today and came across a nearly identical passage: "As an analogy, consider life insurance, which deals with the life expectancy of people instead of price moves. (...) But let's say the same eighty year old smokes three packs of Camels a day, drinks a quart of scotch a day, and has pneumonia..." Copyright 1992. Who stole from who? :)
