I just finished reading "Pilgrim", by Timothy Findley. A rare fiction I actually finished

It's the story of a man, Pilgrim, who, despite repeated suicide attempts, cannot die. After his last unsuccessful attempt, he's committed to an asylum in Switzerland, where his psychiatrist is C.G. Jung. Along the way we discover Pilgrim was (among his many incarnations) once a crippled shepherd boy, and alternatively, a contemporary of Wilde, and da Vinci. We also get an intriguing peek into the life of Jung, and his all too human foibles.

Brilliantly written, and thoughtful.
