Thanks for the summary. Yes, I thought there was nothing wrong with this volume today considering that a lot of traders are still a bit worried. This guy on the floor kept saying that institutions were a small factor in this rally. And yes, I heard again today that the little investor will make out in the long run if he just picks up a little bit when the markets retreat. If they do this every time, they will accumulate nicely, not necessarily at the bottom though but still with a good entry point even if stocks would go down another third. You just can't sit around and wait for a bottom.
I agree. 2009 is not that far away. But I did not act on what I heard again today. I looked at QCOM at 60 and was soooo tempted but said to myself. Just a little lower. Well, so much for that. If some of the talks are right, I may get another chance.
Yes, I could also have done a bit better if I had sold some, every time my stocks were up 100%. There was always another chance to get in lower again.
