RatbertRyand, RE<Jerry is right about real men having Fabs> Can't agree more. That high barrier to entry was the #1 reason I started to invest in AMD 18 months ago. Dan Niles has repeated time after time asking how many major industries have only one player. MSFT may be the only one as we know. As an electrical engineer turned software engineer, I am amazed there are only two viable PC processor makers, thanks to INTC. Look at the entire semi industry, there are only two companies that will make more money than AMD going forward: INTC and TXN. Even the WAll Street darlings like PMCC or AMCC or VTSS can't compare, IMHO. panic
