Chaz,
Do you really think HDR is going to roll out nationwide to compete with cable/DSL? I find this incredibly hard to believe. When I had a Sprint phone, I couldn't even use it inside my house due to poor reception. (Sometimes I could connect outside if I held the phone above my head at just the right angle--but this hampered conversation.) Meanwhile, I have had a cable modem for 18 months. I find the idea that Sprint or whoever can deliver me reliable 1Mbps over HDR when they can't even deliver voice hilarious. I believe HDR will need to compete as a mobile wireless service alone. That means handset size and such will be important. Do you know what the expected size and battery life are?
