As a share holder of EMC we will get a new stock in our portfolio. Helps make things grow faster. A one dollar rise in both EMC and MCDT will be $3 in your pocket. $2 on the split shares of EMC and $1 on the new stock. Distributing the stock to shareholders is the kicker.
