Platinum settings are said to be all the rage these days. African capes don't look very good set in platinum- thats why Canadian white diamonds from Ekati are fetching premium prices. The African off color, tinted garbage is hard to sell anyways so why support the price? Also, some little child's hands or feet weren't hacked off with a machete by a diamond smuggler selling to goods to cutters in Tel Aviv and Antwerp so he can buy more guns and bullets. I think DeBeers new program involving branding and "preferred supplier" will be very successful.

Regarding SUF, IMO, CJ is simply retiring from the "executive scene" and deservedly so. I wish you well with your SUF holdings.
