I read about that. And seem to recall that opinion predated the public knowledge of Clinton's actions with Monica. I wonder if any of you folks who are so certain that public knowledge of Clinton's sexual escapades had the power to erode the state of public morals realize that you have inadvertently made an argument that the whole affair should have been hushed up and not publicized "blow-by-blow" as the House and Starr's report did? This is not my argument BTW. But if you truly do believe damage was done to public morality, perhaps for the sake of said public morality, the matter should not have been released. After all, you do care about the state of public morals, don't you ... more than say scoring political points?
