Tip,, I was there--- Almost always at month end and the last few minutes of trading the jammers win without any competition.. This has always bothered me in the fact that no funds wish to get off the boat.. Well tonight on the stocks that I trade I saw some viscious battles in the last ten minutes.. I'm talking size trading--- The guys would bid for 25K, ( this is to scare off any little jerks) , wham , he got it, with 25 for sale. They'd take that and bid for 50-- Wham , they got it and 100 for sale.. Some rats were leaving the ship big time. As I said , it has been my experience at month end that they all sit back and enjoy the higher close. It was uncharacteristic to see competition at this time, particularly extremely serious competition.
It appears that it was hardly a dent, but some of the big boys were getting out seriously.. They couldn't sell like that into the rally, they would have killed it. They knew the time to unload stock was near the close tonight, and they were doing it, big time. |
