Qualcomm's cellular phones are produced in Brazil by Flextronics in Sao Paulo. The plant's monthly production ranges from 70,000 to 90,000 units. Qualcomm has been developing a new CDMA cellular phone model that will allow Vesper, in which it holds a 16.2% stake, to improve its data transmission services in the 17 states it operates.
