Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, The shorts didn't get squeezed and I'm not on CNBC... OK, the rhyme is tortured, "squeezed" is not quite kosher, but I had a pretty good day anyway. It would have been nice for CNBC to use one of my posts as a background for a piece on ANYTHING (or the columnist sometimes known as Carrie Lee, who quoted my post early in the thread without attribution, could have mentioned me whilst other GGMDM acolytes drooled at her cyber-presence) to help me celebrate today, but perhaps that is asking too much! It's not as if I would have seen it anyway. The only way I find out about this stuff is when someone is kind enough to post a reference here like "and they used Michael Olin's post as a background". I see on the main G* thread that Geoff (if that is his real pseudonym) has gone more than one share long and is waiting for the big squeeze. Maybe he is better at manipulating the market than Maurice... With the book officially closed on another year, I remain long and dehypothecated (although I never was hypothecated to begin with). -Michael
