What ever happened to Ian
anyway?

A poster who earned my respect with his contributions on other threads publicly asked me on this thread to "tone it down a little". I advised him that he'd seen my last post on this thread in a PM response to him.

Several contributors to this thread have asked me to return. One, for whom I have the highest regard, politely asked more than once.

So now I'm back and broke my vow to poster number 1.

I too bought back in today at $30.25 with expectations of reaching at least the high 30's.

That's a rather wimpish estimate! Are you trying for a job as an analyst? ;^)

Don't forget, we're still a contender for INTC's Strip tool of record in its next generation fabs. That's worth about $25 to $30 a share alone.

And the DRAM guys have finally ponied up to the table with their purses brimming with loot. And I'm sure John S. could share how well MTSN has traditionally done in that sector if someone asked him politely.

And I'd be surprised if we don't add at least one more major CVD customer this year.

From today's close, I expect MTSN to more than double within the current calendar year as long as the Fed doesn't take too many "stupid" pills. With a 4-6 month lag time between their action and the observed result, we're just getting over the huge injections of liquidity by the fed to counteract the Y2K problem that didn't exist.

i.e. any inflation seen was a direct result of their interference with the economy. and going forward, we should see the slowing effects of their actions since the beginning of the year. If they have any sense, they'll get out of the way until they see how much damage they've already done. Otherwise they'll probably be forced to ease rates and add liquidity prior to yearend.
