Intel USED to be an investor in CNET, but has not been for a while now, at least one year. I don't know why it is common thought to still think Intel is an investor. The tagline at the end of News.com articles that said Intel was an investor in CNET hasn't appeared in a very long time. BTW, CNET and Bloomberg are different companies. CNET just uses Bloomberg's articles occasionally.
