but i don't know if we were able to get things squared away.

also recommend that you check with all your hardware manufacturers and see if you're running the most current drivers.

and if you subscribe to norton web services, avail yourself of their 'liveupdate pro', which knows all of your system's hardware and software and goes out and searches for all available updates and upgrades, shareware and freeware, and reports back to you with the findings. i just used liveupdate pro on my other machine to retrieve and install a more current 3com modem driver. also all windows patches are made available via the service.
