Tinker,

I don't want to tell you what I remember last quarter's advertising revenue is until I get it confirmed. I'm sure Stew has it recorded and will show up here with it soon.

I've never figured out how I want to look at the last two quarter's reciept of funds resulting from the law suit. On the one hand, it's a special collection of funds from the past that might make me consider it a quasi one-time item. On the other hand, more funds might come in from the same judgement and I expect other judgements to result in even more future payments.

The only thing I'm certain of is that the increased cash flow will be good for general business reasons. More important is that those cash payments send a strong message (we would think) to any companies that might risk going against Henry in a legal battle. And of course the sums speak volumes about the lock Gemstar has on their proprietary architecture.
