still learning,

Sure is quiet here all of a sudden. I haven't heard many of the Safeguard companies mentioned as "survivors" in the Internet sector, a la PCLN, EBAY, YHOO, etc. Nor will the investment focus on network infrastructure companies bear obvious fruit for some time. SFE has bounced off of ~30 a couple of times, and I think that will hold unless we get the market-wide climax sell off. I would guess it'll be in the 30 to 45 range for some months. As such, I intend to play technical and IPO swings with covered calls. I'm thinking things will be interesting again by late next winter, at latest.

Now, was I hallucinating today, or did I see a low of 30 13/16 on my Ameritrade quotes intraday? I ask because it is now gone, and Ameritrade's quote concurs with SI's, while Yahoo! gives the day's low as 31 15/16. Did you or anyone else see this? Usually there's only one misprint, it's rare to get two in a day, isn't it? Crazy NYSE stock!

Cheers, Tuck
