If Ericsson is guilty of wordsmithing, then Qualcomm management must be guilty of continuously vomitting forth statements in violation of reality about the real economic value of their intellectual property. Consider the state of the market for IS-95 related products given Irwin Jacob's predictions of how the market would develop back in the early and mid-nineties. I'm amazed that anyone still finds him and his company credible.

The truth of the matter one can find in the EPS and stock price performance of the various companies involved. Qualcomm shareholders should vent their frustrations that Qualcomm's stock price has fallen by two thirds since the year began (NOK and ERICY both have gains) at Qualcomm management for giving the market unrealistic expectations and not being able to deliver rather than attacking others on this thread for stating the Truth. Hope seems to spring eternal in the crowd of Qualcomm cheerleaders that always seem to mill about on this thread pounding their chests in mutual admiration, but no volume of posts (QCOM is good; NOK,ERICY are bad) will change Reality. As was a saying in Jane Austen's England, hold your breath to cool your porridge.
