Uniphase-Netherlands, UNL, acquired from Phillips, does
WDM lasers and lasers for CATV.
Here is a brief snippet-
JDSU Holland (UNL) (formerly Philips Lasers) - Simply the best.
Uniphase Holland manufactures telecom lasers for dense WDM and high power applications 1300-1555 nm ITU grid. In addition they manufacture high power low distortion analog lasers for the CATV industry.
