Tad, I try to get as bizarre as possible after closing hours and on weekends, what else coud I be?. I assume you are referring to the book "the Cathedral and the Bazaar, which I have not read, but whose title suggests a variegated market place versus a monopolistic(religious temple approach). There were several references findable, here is one tuxedo.org.
This suggests an Intel versus the AMD open bazaar approach as they try to maintain a closed monopoly and are forced into ever tighter circles, until finally they enter their own nether orifice, a safe haven from which to face the world.
I see you have not posted very often, but what you have posted has been good cogent commentary.

Now the network world....another bazaar with a few people wearing pointy hats.
I am sure you will pop up here from time to time.
If in Manhattan, make sure your company rents on a high floor, and keep a boat on the balcony...just in case.
