I would not buy CPQ stock. They sell commodity systems. As commodity systems threaten SUNW systems, SUNW will be forced to find new niches or charge commodity prices (for an example look at how they lowered prices drastically to win the eBay business recently). Otherwise they will lose business (a la Amazon.com).

I know u r an INTC shareholder. That is probably the best way to play the success of Win2k but INTC is quite highly valued now. I liquidated the last of my INTC holdings at 133 and most just below 120 a while back and that was after holding for years. At a bit of a loss to find a new long term hold that will match that. Maybe GBT or something else in the wireless telecoms arena such as PCMS or CDTS if they show some technical strength.
