Why do I call it the "stock market's misbehavior"? Because I am trying to be funny -- ha, ha! Besides, I am not a believer in the "rationality" of the stock market. "Undervalued" stocks, on balance, were declining as much as "overvalued" ones, in sectors/industries that were (temporarily, it would seem) out of favor. Thanks for the offer of assistance with shorting. I will take you up on it. Joan
