Hmmm, that's no fun. So you're really better off buying yeilding securities that you've done DD on than just sweeping into Merrill's MM fund... as long as your piece of paper performs, it doesn't matter what happens to Merrill right? {ie. they can't take your securities to meet other obligations}? So you buy T-Bills and your safe... that's easier than having multiple brokers with all that paperwork.
