Michael, i agree...it is certainly not the only course that's left. however, bubbles usually end in tears. and since the market has never ventured as far above the Fed's 'fair value' model as it has over the last year, while at the same time concentrating the speculation in fewer and fewer stocks, the chances for a more substantial downswing occurring at some point seem great enough to merit some attention and debate. i would in fact argue that a large correction NOW would be better for the market's long term health than another immediate blast-off, which is unfortunately what seems to be in the cards judging from the most recent action.
