When working with a small company, such as Vari-L, one should not expect the CFO to know all the accounting rules. The CFO is more like a controller [at a large company] who just tries to get the books correct, handle projections and cost accounting matters. Issues such as fully diluted earnings per share, and difficult revenue recognition and cost capitalization issues are typically determined through consultation with one's auditors.

In any regard, I hope there is no problems that are significant with the general accounting of the company, other than what we currently know.
