IMO you need to get adjusted MF data from a service that adjusts NAV for distributions. especially for any fund that pays out substantial div or CG... not the least of which are the bond funds which pay out a monthly dividend. looking at such a chart w/o adjustments can look terrible, but adjusted, looks a lot better.
some of yahoo's historical MF data is adjusted, some of it is not.
