I read Class5 as $$$. They will have a tough time competing against proven products from established companies with lower cost products. But you're right about Williams. They're whores and will buy anything so long as they get an equity stake. The other opportunity they might have is if a Cisco or JNPR network fails due to lack of redundancy - not likely. More likely a software problem and why would a company bring in a product with unproven software from a start-up to bridge that issue? I think it's too little too late and I also think they're missing the point. Are you still lugging around a huge battery pack with your cell phone??? No.. because you get get them lighter with the same functionality. Gone are the days when you need racks of equipment to support infrastructure needs - notwithstanding the premium on space in vitually every CO in the country. But then... I haven't seen their product so perhaps I'm rushing to judgement.
