That's funny. Tom Pabst, the "man on a mission" to personally create the downfall of evil Rambus, reviewed an early 815 motherboard, and found performance to be slightly better than that of the Via Apollo Pro 133A:

Of course, for all you conspiracy theory buffs, there's still enough time to cripple the performance of 815 between now and the June release.
