I thought the vix was now a contrary indicator... two or three years ago...you could trade with the rise and fall of the vix coupled with the trins and the ticks.... what doesn't seem to work these days are these very standard measures that worked for so long.... Of course I'm a bit out of the loop here perhaps,,,,,and stand to be corrected.... regards J
