Granville was considered a big shot back then...his word used to move the market. but his spectacularly wrong call in '81 ended that. just as he got caught up in the bearish psychology of that time, he's caught up in the mania psychology now...everybody has been gripped by it, to wit the recent reco on Bloomberg that investors should eradicate the term bear market from their vocabulary.
