all of the music software guys puts each others codecs and other software such that they can play the widest variety of formats and proprietary stuff they can play.

i've downloaded lqid extensions from realplayer's site before.

microsoft has put lqid stuff in their beta player 7 so that you can purchase music from anybody, including lqid.
