Why did the Aussies buy CVC? I'll be sure to ask Les Ward that
question when he comes to Toronto later this month. In the meantime
I would assume that they bought because:

1) They were attracted to CVC's history of annual price surges.
2) They liked the African properties (only one of which remains thanks
to the incompetent and corrupt James Stephenson).
3) They had faith that $10 million in London financing would take
place.

In the last two months, of the 2 million shares traded, only a paltry
11k have been at 4c and since it has been a couple of weeks since
anyone offered the stock at 5c, it would be unrealistic to expect to
get any CVC shares below this price.

Stalemate is a good word to describe the situation. There is no
demand from the public because there has been no news or promotion but
there is also no supply because the people holding the stock
(including the insiders) are optimistic about its prospects. Guess
who's in a better position to gauge its potential success?
