Cambridge Energy is engaged in the exploration and development of oil and gas reserves through the acquisition and development of properties primarily with proven reserves. They own oil and gas properties in Louisiana and oil properties in Indonesia. They also own a full service manufacturer and re-manufacturer of wellhead equipment and components which brings Cambridge an added benefit of vertical integration, whereby Cambridge is able to obtain wellhead products for use on its own properties from TRITON, ensuring availability and lower cost.
Cambridge's domestic assets include an estimated 50.1-60.38 BCF of natural gas and recoverable proven oil reserves of 6.6 to 7.6 million barrels.
January of 1999, Cambridge acquired an Indonesian subsidiary, Intermega Energy Pte, Ltd., which owns 3 oil fields in eastern Indonesia with proven oil reserves in excess of 10.2 million barrels.
