If Dresden cooper parts worked at 1.5 Ghz with a substantial yield then there would be even more parts at 1.4, 1.3, 1.2 Ghz. I doubt that this is the case, at least in any quantity, or AMD would sell them. The profits from the premiums that could be charged would be substantial.

It is common, to hear at the water cooler, of room temperature test results and jump to false conclusion. I think what the German reports are is water cooler gossip.

In the end, we all will just have to wait and wonder what the announcement will bring on Monday.
