Unfortunately, look for that issue to get completely dropped by the administration as soon as the Elian case drops below the news radar. A little bluster now in order to appease the "hypocrite" crowd. But that's about it.

After all, it's been seven years and they're finally giving it some attention. I don't have to wonder why.

Yup, spend millions of taxpayer dollars assisting a communist father get his son. But let's not spend a red-nickel helping an American dad retrieve his daughters from Germany for seven years. Seven years and we finally care!

And what about the children in Cuba being kept from their American parents? Do we care about them? Has a news story been written by the media on their plight? Or perhaps it was just a rumor I heard?
