Your post seems to indicate that you believe that there is a correlation between heavier than average volume, or average volume, and the 'validity' of a direction in the market. I assume you mean a move up in this particular case.

To put it a different way, you're telling me that a price move is more "real" if it is accompanied by volume that is "sufficient".

I went long everything last Wednesday. It looked to me like the market had bottomed out, and I seem to be doing fine so far. Can you explain what it is exactly that you are talking about? How are the market makers taking advantage of me, and what does the 'sufficient' volume (please explain) have to do with it?
