dg wow, thanks. Will run through the list. My data comes in via satelite so I do not really need much inet protection. I do get on line to download end of day data but never check email and very rarely surf the net on that machine. I like nortons utilities but I suppose I can learn to use win 98s. I will take it off. I will also call my trading software provider (ensign) and find out when it updates files. I am sure I fairly confident the update times are adjustable in its software. Just a wild shot but does dg stand for disc golf? ht Mag
