NEW GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY RESULTS

Starfield Resources Ltd. is continuing a detailed geophysical survey program at the Ferguson Lake (Nickel-Copper-Platinum-Palladium-Cobalt) massive sulphide project in Nunavut Territory. New results from the UTEM Survey have extended the West Zone target an additional 1.0 kilometers, from Section 72 West to Section 82 West for a total new anomaly length of 2.4 kilometers. The UTEM survey is tracing the host sulphide unit beyond the 7.15 million tonne possible resource previously identified by 71 core drill holes (N.C. Carter, Ph.D., October 1999). The West Zone anomaly continues to plunge in a westerly direction, with the top of the zone on Section 82 West interpreted to occur at a depth of 600 meters. The known West Zone, plus its geophysical signature, now extends from Section 40 West to Section 82 West for a total strike length of 4.2 kilometers. The zone continues to be open for further extension beyond Section 82 West and survey work is continuing by the Company?s contractor S.J. Geophysics Ltd.
