I told you this story, I think, but it bears repeating: two or three convention seasons back, one of the networks made a great deal out of the fact that Republican delegates were better educated and had better jobs, on average, than Democratic delegates. The spin? Not that Republican delegates were smarter, better informed, and more successful, but that the Democratic convention was, well, more democratic, more representative of the masses........
