loffy....you make a profit on a short put by buying to close lower then selling to open.....<vbg> gblx may40 opened and closed in april....."recent weeks", was your interjection.....so if six weeks or so meets your definition of "recent"....... believe the stock traded below thirty and bounced to mid thirties.... had an earlier march opened may40 position which was closed neutral.....
