gary, i am aware that you gave the msft example.....and let me say that i have respect for you and your well thought out responses....i mean that sincerely......you have a point.....a good one......i would also like to say that a typical example like i heard a couple of wks ago was a broker trying to sell an annuity in an ira acct.....i know you dont do this gary but many times the callers arent "super educated" and brinker does help them......i havent gone into it on this thread but i have disagreements with bob.....he is not infallible.....an example of this is ontk......yes it was great if you bought at 14 but if you bought at 28 you will be lucky to break even over the last 2 yrs......granted no one should have this as a major portion of their portfolio but the pick has not performed........i also agree that he can sound very caustic with some callers......overall i think he helps people......and i think he is actually lightening up on brokers....i know this is hard to believe....... bottom line it appears that you do an admirable job for your clients......you are to be commended......
