Glenn software patch will probably work at the expense of performance. I have posted the info about distortions because intel claims that the bug will not affect financial software while it can affect some video-games. I have a hard time trusting that statement because nower days financial packages are not just lotus application but fairly sophisticated engines. Original statement by intel was that the bug would not affect any application. -Albert
