Les, Table B shows that they adjusted the figures for previous periods.

They adjusted previous preiods upward, which would have the effect of making current figures look smaller when compared to (revised) previous figures.

Am I wrong in assuming that they adjusted the figures because they have more accurate data available?

Can somebody with some knowledge of their methods comment on exactly what percipitates an adjustment?

I see suggestions here that they have just adjusted the figures capriciously, but I have seen no evidence to support that - just statements that they have.

I'm interested in thoughts on the revisions, but I'd like to see something more than a post-hoc argument.
