AG has ben humbled before, in 1987.
He pushed too many buttons then when the market crashed he figured the right ones to push. This turned him into an incrementalist. Probably too conservative for this environment.
One of the most important things is that he can always ease.
The fact that this economy is strong and has necessitated hikes is very good in that there is plenty of room for easing later. Contrast this with Japan, basically in a depression with no room to ease unless they pay banks to take money.
Perhaps you should be more appreciative of the relatively steady, uptrend environment that the FED has managed to create rather than a complete, boom bust environment resulting from the FED being chronically behind the curve.
