I wonder if what the artist intends really matters at all after the work leaves them. Lots of artists compare their art works to children- and even though you give birth to children, and raise them- they develop their own personalities and destinies that their parents frequently never imagine.

Do you think art works are like that? I do. I've had people read my poems and find TOTALLY different meanings in them from what I intended. And it used to bother me- but now I love it.
