Wasn't the first Pii, .35u version somewhere around 200 mm^2? I think under normal circumstances, Intel would be just fine. What is different this time is that Intel needs Willy just to stay in the game.

If you are right and Willy is delayed until 2001, AMD's earnings in Q3 and Q4 will be out of this world. My prediction for ASPs is:
Q2: $100
Q3: $130
Q4: $150
And all this on increasing volume of chips in Q3 and Q4.

I hope AMD is accelerating the ramp up of Dresden. AMD has enough cash on hand and enough cash in the pipeline to be more aggressive with purchasing and installing new equipment.
